Biography
More than 15 years of experience in the field of CyberSecurity. Since 2001, I work for Euskaltel, S.A. as IT Security Manager: In charge of defining Security Policies, managing security incidents, performing and managing internal and external audits as well as supporting legal areas of the company to guarantee compliance by enforcing IT security controls aligned with the Business. Also involved in R&D projects in the fields of cybersecurity and Big Data Analytics in order to foster the creation of new value-added services. Also in close collaboration with University of Deusto as a Professor of Master Degree in IT Security during the courses 2009-2010 until 2014-2015 and more recently with Law Faculty of the same University for the course of “Expert in Digital Law”. Active participation in R&D projects and technical manager in Euskaltel of European funded project REPLICATE http://replicate-project.eu/ (2016-2020)
